Requirements When Requesting Inserts

When inserts have been requested the following must be considered:

• The correct Inserts are used as specified on the production drawing

• The pre-punched or drilled hole size must match the manufacturers requirements for the specific insert

• Inserts must be fitted flush and square

• Ensure inserts are fitted in the correct orientation. If it is not completely clear which side of the material the inserts should be fitted on please ask.

• Please ensure there are no loose inserts after fitting

• Please ensure excessive force is not used when fitting the inserts leading to deformation or damage of the material around the insert

• Please ensure inserts are aligned with the pre drilled holes
