ISO 9013 for Thermal Cutting Quality (If using tube laser)
The material type and grade stated on the Fractory platform is what should be followed even if alternative materials are shown on the production drawings attached. If anything is unclear please ask the account manager associated with the job.
The material thickness shown on the Fractory platform should also be followed and any alternative thicknesses (eg. 0.9mm instead of 1mm) should be agreed with the account manager for the job up front and Fractory platform updated to show what is actually being delivered.
Unless otherwise specified the surface condition and visual appearance of the finished tube cut part should be in line with class B Finish as specified in the "General Appearance" section of this handbook.
Unless otherwise specified on the Fractory platform the dimensional tolerances for tube cut parts should fall within the below range, this applies to tube laser parts or saw cut tube:
Unless otherwise specified the edge quality for tube cut parts should be in line with ISO 9013 Grade 2 (Fine) with the following characteristics:
Perpendicularity = +/-0.15mm
Edge Roughness = Ra 3.2-6.3 μm
Dross = Minimal / Trace Amounts
HAZ = 0.1-0.2mm
**Note the above requirements also apply if tube is being saw cut**
If deburring is not specified as an additional process it should still be possible that the parts can be handled safely without causing injury. If deburring has been specified as an additional process please refer to the "Deburring" section of this handbook for quality requirements.
Perpendicularity, δ= +/-0.15mm
Edge Roughness = Ra 3.2-6.3 μm
Dross = Minimal / Trace Amounts
HAZ = 0.1-0.2mm
Parts should be checked against the drawing for dimensional accuracy and against this document for quality acceptance before shipping parts.
From time to time we may ask for quality images or documents to be uploaded to prove the parts meet the required quality standards before they can be shipped.
